Back 2 the Basics

Let’s briefly  analyze the current state of Network Television so that the future of network entertainment is innovative, bright, and inspiring for the future of everyone involved with stage.   The philosophy for television in its most basic form should be about sharing ideas to be better clever- seekers of story.

In (Dream 2 Create 4 the future of Entertainment) I briefly touched on Television, Broadway musicals, the big screen, and comic fare.

Design for Network Television I conceived through a process I like to call, “Creative Engineering.” We know how to develop what it is we conceptually create.

We all imagine similar things differently! How I see 2 imagine, is not necessarily how & what you see 2 imagine; work 2 imagine the pieces fitting together with others 2 create  beyond what you cannot see alone.

During the construction of creative engineering, there’s no bad “Creative Engineering,” which seeks to utilize my, yours and theirs, vision of imagination!  Be willing to overcome your-self doubt by reaching beyond first thoughts of imagination to capture a better-clever image 2 show.

Do Not Grab- and-bag what others work hard at; and attempt to claim it as yours. It paralyzes the industry and offers nothing productive for entertainment. The opportunity for shared imagination must be present, otherwise hope for a better-clever show is obsolete.To be competitive, there must be a platform for  innovative.

Network TV needs to establish teams of creative engineers, for it will allow for a spectrum of ideas.  It’s not easy assembling small teams who are willing  to customize and share their imagination .

Typically a show will lose some luster because some folks begin feeling as though they pooped out of situations to write and create, and some might feel an urge to move-up to movies, directing, producing, etc.

Typically a spin-off is not far off.

Wait! 

What about the original? There’s still life left in that a show, (any show) can be made into a movie, I’ll guarantee it! The table is already set. The principles, writers, actors, etc are in existence, and personalities are established. Reap the rewards, assemble a small dream - team of creative engineers and get it done.There needs to be a correspondence between the two; show & movie. They both become a dumping ground for activity; a movie to expand the show beyond the boundaries of the network, showcase each character and the original show for simple pleasures that seed to feed the movie.

History has proven Network TV likes to stay attached to a predetermined paradigm!  Cable Television leads the way for innovative risk-taking; film has an unlimited playing field, but lack in a total commitment for risk-taking innovative film making!

“STARE” at you

“STARE”

Stare! Ever wonder why?  Probably not! There’s a reason why we unknowingly trance into stare!  Are you aware of where you are when you stare? After stare, perhaps! While in stare, beware, you will forget whose there! I know, I’ve been there, I forgot a lot, for a little bit! I forgot I had a wife, sorry dear! I promise you, if you go to Stare, you might forget  your wife, husband, boyfriend, or girlfriend.

Stare is better alone, those above, only interfere with stare.

This is normal to forget! A-bit, those that are near, the one we love most, dear! Don’t make it a habit; you’ll be home alone, he or she will charge you a fee, the next time you call to see, he or she.  

 Dreaming, that’s a stare, unaware you’re there! You’re asleep, you’re trying to reveal or rescue meaning to something near, your subconscious is analyzing, attempting to construct something unsettling, Stare helps make it clear.   

To stare, unaware, conscious control, shit just happens, it’s unprovoked! You most likely found resolve or comfort there, or you imagined you’re on a fantastic voyage while in stare.

 “Behind the Eyes, story-talking” we spoke subconscious is forcefully seeking to bring meaning to an image, yourself, somebody else, in a dream.  Are you aware you’re in stare! No!  Until you snap out of stare, do you realize that brief trip you where on was clearly a-bit enlightening?  There is a correlation between; sleep / stare / awake!   Think of in your life when someone called your name,  not only did you not respond, the person calling your named probably called it twice before you awoke from being awake.. It was you they were calling! Totally UN-aware, where were you? STARE!   

 Stare; deep thought, oblivious to me and you and things around, thinking of something totally different than what is you’re staring at!  Let’s take it further, (ha) one of the most difficult things in life not to do is; Think!  WHAT, Silly! Think, about times in stare, the times you dream awake, the times you actually suppress the world around you, and the times you stare with eyes wide open.

It doesn’t happen often, why? Because of all the distractions we are subject to in life.

Stare is a reaction created from imagination

The creation of imagination in stare is where you vision fiction, (don’t argue that point)

Let’s explore the relationship between; “STARE and creative entertainment.” We posses an infinite, unknown amount of imagination capable of extraordinary amount of make-believe shit. Go ahead, make-believe,   Stare; (don’t challenge that).

Take the  scene(s) you see in, STARE, some are faint, blurry,  a silhouette, and make them  an essential part of your thoughts  for a day, you will have in your possession a start for an  amazing short story, a story you’re thirsty to continue and  desperately want to  share,(be patient). 

NOW, things get a-bit more complex!  

Entertainment is built on imagination; a seed from STARE

Remember; Five Alive, they stare (d), they sat, stood and lied down and stared, they knew how to get to that place Stare.  Each went to that place to imagine.

 When you say to yourself; “wow, I can’t imagine I thought of that,” that’s the area you want to be, unrestricted, isolated imagination! Remember! What is there!

“Behind the Eye” Story-talking

"Behind the Eye, Story - talking"

 Behind the Eye! A blink! A squint, a reaction reflex processing what the eye’s camera captured!  Blink! Recording the photo taken!  “1” Second; the minds eyes have analyzed the photo seemingly surreal; instantaneously your imagination goes to work! It is individual instinct the FIVE ALIVE knew was vital for the development from their imagination.  You’ve probably never thought of your eyes as being one of the engineers of storytelling!  The process of formulating images is different for everyone; our eyes capture and attach to things we are instinctively attracted to! The process of formulating that image is different for everyone. (Than why is there so many similar shows on network TV? is everyone visualizing and thinking the same way about everything)?

  

The mind inside our eyes! Sounds strange, I know.  After our eyes absorb the photo, “1” second, it’s fed to our brain to become the task for our creative intellect, and what our creative intellect (creative engineering) does with it, is different for everyone (we are not all the same).

 Don’t ignore the silence signals of dreaming!  The perception of images, (remember nightmare) how our eyes translate to mind, creating a sensation, a feeling! WE ALL ADORE A SENSATION, DON’T WE! In the case of NIGHTMARE, a feeling of shiver! We all want to keep alive the desire to create more sensation! (I know I do) inspire your eyes to inject a flow of sensation to BODY and Mind! Imagination! Keep it alive until you die!   We all want to be aroused? Our first sensation of feelings!  Dreams can be traced to images packaged in our eyes, and relayed, MIND, Body!  Let us not disregard the free gift of imagination; we fail to acknowledge the mechanics of imagination! It’s the eyes in FRONT of your mind; instinct chooses the images so you can feel a sensation! (Oh yea)We take the process for granted! We don’t have a choice, it all happens spontaneous!  Dreaming, we take the scenes for being worthless! And leave it at that! Not ever thinking that perhaps there’s more to the story. Most often we disregard our simplest thoughts! Remember the old cliche, “go with your first feeling” Its difficulty to capture the moment, our mind is working overtime to figure things out! Our intelligence tells us to think of a better way! There must be a better way! A better solution!  Stay tuned into scenes that arouse pleasure, a feel good moment!

INSTINCTS! Never try to manipulate who you are! You will insult your own creative intelligence! Never than will you be able to enjoy your own instinctive gifts of creativity! There’s talent there, intelligence! Allow the eyes inside to work!! They will tell you things, plant the seed allowing you to begin a lifetime journey of story.  Awake to imagine! Remember-dreaming awake!    The silent brilliance, our eyes talk to us, it’s up to us to create the imaginable! We just need to listen to our eyes!

“Alive in Heaven did it better than everyone” This is where, in recent history, network television has failed us, neglecting to disassemble stale ancient habits, and redo the paradigm, Blah   

The minds in our eyes know instinct; assembling a road map for every image, listen to what you are being shown! It may be a story to voice! To write!  To paint! A new team of, “FIVE ALIVE ON EARTH” wanting to be heard by you, dreams no-longer concealed, but willing to be revealed.

 Let’s play a game, and don’t be critical, this is for fun! (I know what you’re thinking)!

 You, I and three others are resting on a hill, or  alongside a stream!    For five minutes we keep our mouths shut and allow the minds in our eyes to wonder! To watch, and imagine! Allow our eyes to work!  After five minutes let’s briefly exchange what the minds of our eyes seen!  Let’s do it again! And exchange again! Now, let’s talk about it! Only now include people, things, and dialogue!  Keep story-talking.

Imagine a morning, afternoon or evening of story-talking?

Imagine doing this with five unselfish people, what a wonderful and fascinating story we all would share, it keeps on growing. (There’s a song there)?   

This  is what I spoke about in, “ALIVE IN HEAVEN,” I was lucky to be present for a short time; happy to be  allowed to sit-in during a few of this group of five’s astonishing story- talks. This particular story was build from the minds of five! At the time, the story was probably six years into development; the delivery of imagination was absolutely fascinating! I hope those five I knew on earth, who now are, FIVE ALIVE IN HEAVEN, are still story-talking. I like to think of it as; creative engineering! I’m left with fascinating memories! I hope they have fond memories of me also! I want to believe so! I preserve in mind remarkable voices, sharing thoughts from story-talk!

Five Friends

One made friends with one! Than two together made friends with one! Three now together made friends with another! Than four together made friends with one more!

Prime-time TV?  Has not advanced as rapidly as the technology being used to produce it; why? Egos!  To have an impact, lasting impression, innovative and interesting, prime-time entertainment assembly of minds needs to project how / what the human mind thinks, not what someone’s ego thinks it should think? Or what you should think?  Trying not to be perfect is splendid!  Silly talk has infinite capabilities 

 What I spoke about in…DREAM 2 CREATES! Most often we can make an accurate guess to the sequence of events and /or outcome as it correlates to prime-time TV.

Television - visionaries must be working with their eyes closed and have no friends; I can’t believe the mind in everyone’s eyes see nearly the same way!
