Brand of Brain to Entertain;

Brand of Brain to Entertain;
You’re thinking I lost my mind, close, but not yet!   Your brand 4 entertainment is vitally important to us!  Don’t shiver! We are born wired with a brand 2 entertain! Solicit your brand of creative engineering so we 2 can reap the enjoyment.  Your brand; not much different than mine, his, or hers! What is different is how you express and construct what it is you visualize.  It takes patience in silence and trust to construct.
Branded!
Creative Engineering; Suspense, Comedy, horror, mystery, jokes, musicals, cartoons, stand-up!
Grab a pencil or mouse and write a Shorty story, after a second of thought, you won’t give a second thought, you will be thrilled when you read what you have revealed. This is not about writing a Shorty 4 me; but 4 us!  A bundle of words, that’s it; don’t care if it’s clever, silly or smart.
Suspense / mystery
She disappeared, he disappeared, you don’t give a shit, every year   you’re called to search for 2 people who mysteriously vanished from a land in the world. You are hired to find and retrieve; you don’t give a damn if they’re alive, dying or dead.
You’re right!  Alive and healthy, or dying or dead, I don’t give a shit; ill uncover the mystery of what happened to those that vanished. Prominent, pauper, beggar or thief!  Family, friend, foe, or lover thought a long-time about how to construe their disappearance.
Laugh
You walk in to a room and a small group of people are lounging and laughing. At first glance they seem oblivious that you are staring and smirking!
You are standing alone! Soon you are laughing along.
Someone else enters the room; you are not oblivious as it may seem to him!   You are laughing, un- interrupted, enjoying the moment, feeling to laugh, hearing only the voices from thoughts for laughter.
Before you left, “Your Town,” for Dark Town, friends in, “Your Town;” “My Town,” advised you not to go to; “Dark Town,” you went anyway!  And now, there is no going home! A voice from the dark calls out to you; “hey, over here.” Appropriately named; “Dark Town!” hearing the voice, unable to put a face to voice!
Stay out of sight!  Darkness whispered.
Ha!
Lakeside Music Festival
A young boy, your family would go on vacation to Lake George every summer for a few weeks of summer fun.  The beach has been widened; a stage has been built for the lakeside music festival this summer.  You are all grown-up and back-up to perform in a month long summer music festival with friends from Long Island.    Only now, the best musical performance of lyrics, sound and song will win play-dates to perform live in theater on Broadway.
Comedy
Stand-up! alone, frightening!  4 some, Yes, 4 you, no!  Look at the crowd, invite a stranger from the audience on stage; you speak? They answer!  Find the opening from prodding to deliver good humor.  You know your brand; you know the persona of the unknown that works well with you. If Stand-up is your brand; standing alone is easy! You’re a genius.
The stranger, the audience, and you are laughing.
It’ll make sense!   *send out an ending.

this will be fun !

Gossip! read all about it! We can't avoid it; on television, on billboards, in magazines, even on popular food items. Television was designed to provide  twenty two minutes of rich, creative and mindful content daily for the viewer.

Entertainment Showcase's Best Picture Shelf

ENTERTAINMENT SHOWCASE’S BEST PICTURE SHELF-(introduction)

Let us not go- way- back to the beginning! We will pick out a few? Leave many out, and analyze what might of being going on inside the minds of some at the time of conception! That‘s to say, at the very least, the birth of the;  BEST PICTURE.
Let’s briefly look at why some pictures’ win!
Well, obviously to win, you must’ve been better than the rest, (ha) not necessarily!
Perhaps that’s correct, but winning is never that easy! Ninety nine percent of the time, best picture winner is deserving of its award, the other one percent, the voters are seeking to reestablish and/or bring awareness to a fresh or once-upon-a-time paradigm. That is not necessarily a bad thing; I tend to agree to like it, as long as the one percent is original work.
We all have certain criterion, what tends to be mental trickery, because our minds tease us, is when we its time to make our selection for best movie.  Removing emotion, personal feelings towards specific actors, genre, etc… vote next time for the overall craftsmanship / originality of the film. The actual story, the mental imagery that someone / people experienced and how well they exploited it from first conception to ending.  If it has your DNA on it, its original work, it must be applauded, even if it did not win best picture, I’m sure it was nominated, and the world took notice. Human nature always recognizes when someone created an original work of art! Right, we do it all the time! Haven’t you said to someone…”wow, you made that!”
I have favorites that I’m happy won!  And others I have my doubts!  That’s not to say they’re bad films.
What I feel will be a plus positive for the future of the industry as a body of entertainment, is when comprehensive, unbiased collaboration among all the principles involved on making a show / film is sincere. This is vitally important, voice is important (Alive in heaven, they did it better than anyone else). Human nature has a tendency to spoil some wonderful recipes, by not allowing ourselves the unbiased ability to accept a better way or perhaps a cleverer (ha) storyline.
Read what I wrote in, “Explore for entertainment,” those are some of the restrictions cramping the industry.
Bring your own tools to work- not someone else’s.
Movie-Making; A VISIONARY! (Frank Capra) (John Ford) (Vincent Minnelli) (David. Selznick) (Darryl F. Zanuck) (Cecil B.DeMille) (Sam Spiegel) (Walt Disney-for entertainment).
I know about-Demme, Hawk, Hitchcock, Huston, and Leone!
Contemporaries are omitted purposely. Some are extraordinarily superb! Sorry.
We will not speak of individual faults, or any of that bullshit, here we speak of the brilliance that came from a dream, and how it might have been FIRST conceived.
Sounds Silly! Its not!
Remember, it’s for the art! NOT YOU!
Loyalty, trust- you figure it out!
Patience to allow the mind to unravel what it sees, haste makes waste! Demands happen due to the nature of things!  Personalities may become falsely tarnished, not because of the person, but because of the nature of things! Figure that out 2.
Dream! Does your minds eye see it! Dream it to life! It comes alive, doesn’t it!  The movie maker’s vision; I’ve made it sound easy, its not, let’s step- aside from the actual production, (production another time, ugh) and examine first tickle the creator felt.  The production team will manufacture a camouflaged vision, camouflaged because many times throughout the franchise, things in thoughts seem disguised,   clarity takes time to rise, it percolates, slowly - creative patience.  I always say, a book is better than the movie, because of the span to explain.   (Edit) similar to a great novelist / novel stories evolve! Many fine novels have, and or had the stuffing to go on forever if the author chose to evolve the story!   Remember! To always remember!  Your audience! The viewer! What tends to run interference in the entertainment industry, as with any industry, is this thing called, “ego,” what happens is! A maker, visionary will sense a tickle; see a scene(s); attach a feeling(s), which is cool! BUT, somewhere they attach something bias to the work, their piece of shit to show it’s them! Its mine! (You forgot the viewer, and thought of yourself)Which tends to blow the story in a new direction than originally dream t? Detouring only to lapse into blind bias from the, “ego.”  A truly great maker, visionary knows, “ego,” does not let it interfere in their work. It’s extremely difficult to isolate your feelings for the well-being of the art.  ANYTHING ELSE DOES NOT WORK!
We will continue to talk of the brilliance the mind of some has provided! Never throw stones, denounce, or speak behind someone’s back!  Everyone’s shoes has some stink on the bottom and everyone’s shirt smells of sweat more than twice in their lifetime! Shit happens.
The basics! Dream to sense a feeling; (every great storyteller / creator feels it) what is the story saying to you! Not what you are saying to it (it becomes difficult to work with) add “face,” for the space, patience, Collaborate. (Imagine a room where all of you feel the tickle). Truly enjoy the ones you work with, you will inspire each other; it causes wonderful things to happen.
Frank Capra, David O. Selznick, Darryl F. Zanuck, Cecil B. DeMille., Walt Disney.  What might have been going on inside the minds at the time of first tickle? One thing was for sure!  Deep relaxed thought, allowed their mind to construct from a natural instinct!   Awake dreaming the vision! Eventually adrenalin kicks in and the mind becomes a machine of creativity! From that point, allow instinct to flourish!
All great movies fit perfectly inside the time in date/ history! (that’s is correct) the images for film instinctively happen to great makers, their mind Auto Creates to the time in history-as if no thought went into what to make-instead, who, and let’s begin!
Not as easy as I just made it seem. At this point, it’s more than a tickle, soon to be reality.
They felt the rush of a beating heart, fine work was about to be built “ego” did -not interfere.
Contemporaries omitted for now, there are some great ones.
1939 – GONE WITH THE WIND –
1953 – FROM HERE TO ETERNITY –
1957 – THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI
1959 – BEN HUR –
1961 – WEST SIDE STORY –
1962 – LAWRENCE of ARABIA - to win against, to kill a mockingbird! Whew!
1963 – LILIES OF THE FIELD
1965 – THE SOUND OF MUSIC,
Lee Marvin that year in “CAT BALLOU,” just the name and the face(s) of CAT BALLOU should have been enough to win first prize. Cat Ballou, it s all about the face! There’s a face somewhere that fits every scene nicely!

1970’s, some not necessarily original, though?
1971 – THE FRENCH CONNECTION
1972 – THE GODFATHER
1973 – THE STING – clever, don’t you agree, a sign of patience,
1974 – THE GODFATHER TWO
1975 - ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, Jack, nothing else to say!
1976 – ROCKY – simple you say, you think so! We still think of him today, admit it!
1988 – RAIN MAN – the art of keeping your eyes on the prize! It can be done. Tickle man!
1991 – THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS – you know that face, perfection, holy molly! Hopkins!
1994 – FORREST GUMP – full collaboration, we appreciated every scene, absorbed each character to the fullest. Eyes on the prize, it can be done, Perfection.
1997 – TITANIC – ok! Time to leave the ship alone now! Until it rises from the deep!
2001 – A BEAUTIFUL MIND, courage to make this film, all about a vision!
2004 – MILLION DOLLAR BABY – heart & soul baby, the way it supposed to be, perfection.
2011 – THE ARTIST – read what I wrote about silent films winning best picture!

SIMPLE stuff to think about before & during the making of a best picture.
Keep creepy people away
Dream everyday and night about the dream (edit)
Keep creepy people away
REMEMBER WHO?
Have others dream with you, next 2 u!
Work!
If you won!
Dream some more!
Movies that are not originally conceived, should they be considered for best picture?  Historical events can be heartfelt and tragic, and are categorized as documentary!   Best Picture is for originality, I believe we would see more creativity, more selection, (non-arguable, ha).  A filmmaker can undertake the task to recreate, document actual events, and maneuver as they wish to receive the most exposure for / from the film, (which is fine, we need that knowledge). The best picture should be solely based on originality conceived from within the creator!  And find the face(s) that will best exploit your imagination, (Cat Ballou).
Why during the fifties, where there were so many magnificent films.
Originality
There was a concerted, sincere effort to the art / work, to create something, a story. That time in our history, the world was ripe for entrepreneurship, the industry as a whole body was searching for direction, searching for an identity, and today this feeling is almost non-existent, except for the superb few who pioneer the progression for the future.
A best picture nomination should be one hundred and twenty minutes of actual film to be considered for best picture. if the costs weren’t astronomical, I would go out on a very thin limb and suggest…one hundred and eighty minutes- than movie- makers of all shapes, sizes and stink would begin to truly dream, as the men and lady did in, ALIVE IN HEAVEN,” did, imagine all the great storytelling, risk to imagine a great-story, movies would actually speak to us, think of a novelist!
Short films are just that, short films!

Magazine Spit; What Happened

Magazine Spit; What Happened!

I’ve been asked by New York based magazine writers, readers, friends and insiders!
What happened?
What happened to what I ask!  Of course I know precisely what’s being asked? And what happened to the magazine publication business that was once the king Cones of corner news stands, the corner landmarks for us pedestrians, and the bread and butter of New York news stands, literally.
Where is the industry heading? They ask! What happened to the joy! The happiness! The camaraderie, the fulfillment!   Is the landslide solely due to the World Wide Web? And my response is always the same! Yes, but that’s only a small part of the problem.
Folks it’s an easy answer! But first, as always, as I’ve said many times! The ancient ways of doing things die a slow and painful death. In general information became a-allot easier, quicker, minus all the added bullshit include in articles. Personal opinion to stir up controversy and sales believing that’s what sells is in today’s world is bad behavior, and most important, the thing that ruins most everything… a thing called “egos.”
Think about the mind-set, the guts of the magazines that do well, vs. the magazines that are not doing quite so well as in the past. It’s about honesty-substance- heartfelt photos / pictures that appeal to our natural senses, to the eye, listen, feel what people are saying! Tits and ass is nice, but vanishes quickly, saved for select publications.
Publications that shined once-upon-a-time are crying because of the morbid reluctance to change. Seek Risk, and that’s freighting to the principles, why? Because Monday morning they may not have a job, that’s bullshit though, they should be commented for seeking something a-bit refreshing.
If your publication is to reach a broad selection of readers with sums of articles, interests,  lets exclude  select markets, (autos, electronics, etc) you must provide honesty, integrity…folks are tired with being bullshitted. The web provides us immediate information, and we can grab only what we need within seconds / minutes without someone’s personal biased opinion. Your influence is not necessary, today people dislike troublemakers more now than any other time in history, and they may listen for a second, than disregard you forever.
Information is free, as opposed to the News Stand price; people buy magazines when they have nonsense disposal dollars to spend on a 30 minute thirst to read, five dollars to read someone’s bitching is a bit much.
Magazines have an awful habit; their philosophy dates back to the beginning of time. The sales crap, and you find it all over the place, “don’t tell me how much you are saving me, that now I can have it for dimes and nickels for a year subscription, that means you have been screwing me and lying to me for years.
What has damaged the magazine industry, and righteously so, is when they share their opinion.  Give an opinion! Don’t take sides; you piss people off! To read about journalists capitalizing on creating controversy, baloney! Not everyone enjoys people who throw stones.
Again, it’s easy to pull up information today and read only the facts; we can make up our own minds about something or somebody.
Think of the big publication houses, look   at the drop-off in sales, and ask yourself why!
The celebrity market has fallen –off, why? Because readers don’t want to read about young adults whining, some do! Most don’t.
In the past, I spoke about the drop-off / boredom / poor, less than fine make-up that is the Award Shows. A reflection in recent past years Awards shows, prove to me someone was paying attention.
(You must provide substantial insight accompanied with whatever it is your presenting, a clever and knowledge viewpoint for the reader / viewer.) Readers toss aside magazines, viewers turn-off TV’s.
I just told you why, and I’m right, 4 once, ha-ha.
Write about core issues, be sincere, honesty wins!
Television can get-away with quick snip-its, their under time constraints, they do-it logically, most of the time.  Face-time vs. pen is a topic for another time.

4 our future entertainment

Dream 2 Create 4 the future of Entertainment. timbottiglieri.com
Wonderful! A great show! Applause! Chants and shouts of cheer fill the theater, sounds we love to hear, “A Great Show.” “Now go and tell your family we arrived, open your windows and your doors, yell out loud to your neighbors and your friends to watch us, LIVE, on the “AIR, and on Broadway,  and coming soon to a stage in your city.
Just try, write a story, any story, most stories are fairy tales anyway created from our imagination. Write so everyone close-by and far-away can enjoy it. Write about the scenes in your mind, so everyone close-by and far- away can read it. All entertainment is made from dreamers like you and I, Created from our imaginations.  A show of entertainment! A show 4 you and 4 me, 4 television, film, and stage 4 the whole world 2 see.  Whatever it is you dream about everyday. Dreaming is good! That’s brilliance, disguised.  When we create, we inspire 2 create and 4 others 2 awake to the most inspiring, and wonderful dreams of all, yours, mine and  theirs. Be passionate about dreaming, they belong to you, it’s your dream come true the moment you open your eyes, and smile. It can be a dream come true told in a book, across the world-wide-web, a film, a story told through a microphone. You’re an author, a playwright, a scriptwriter.
Dreams are your imagination awakening; unconscious euphoria. Dreaming is an infinite story constantly developing uncluttered in your imagination, it is the invisible gift of the unconscious mind. It’s where your daily playground of fun evolves. Mind dreaming, unleashing unrestricted thought, it becomes alive the moment you allow it to be heard, Its magical, it’s invigorating, it’s inspiring, mysterious, and enlightening.
Creatively writing for situation comedies, drama, and mystery should not be restricted to follow a specific, strict format. The hope is for the dream to continually evolve while you where asleep, your minds world created a story, and now you must capture it, and share it with us. Awakening, the story will sustain life once you commit to it, some will be great, and others will be what you make them to be. Actors will unselfishly perform your script; you possess the vision of the dialogue whispered to you.
Share your dreams in a book, in a show of comedy, drama, mystery and suspense. Share your dreams in a musical, loud enough to seep into the ears, eyes, and the brains of others. Speak your dream to the producers to assist, and contribute to the dream. Patience is a virtue; egos are not, Quality! Somewhere in everyone’s dream is a story worthy of a tale to show and tell. The birth of creativity becomes reality when it produces a smile or frown upon the awakening mind. Than allow the cursor to tap unrestricted. Bunches of tales never fail when ignorance is absent.
What do you do when the audience stops clapping, silent applause, no more smiles, only frowns? What to do when your shows popularity poops, and your mind struggles with fears of failure, and disheartening tidbits about the franchise are zooming around every imaginable gossip column. Heck! What do they know about your dream? You know what you should do! Dream some more, and implement a change, gradual or not, just dream, easy, unrestricted new life into the franchise. Shows and/or franchises that reveal a state of dust and doom and suddenly drop viewer interest will immediately receive a jolt of life, the fruit for life and survival will be sustained. The storyline will adopt a new tale to tell. That’s fine folks, that’s what you want, out with the dead, in with the new, better yet! Have fun with change, freshness taste good. Put to rest ancient ways of telling tales. Implement character traits faithfully.
Network Television! Gosh! 4 the future  enjoyment of entertainment on earth, and our many years of fun together, how are you ever going 2 win first place when all you ever do is play the same game, the same way in the same playground all the time? Your viewers know your every move! You rely on a predetermined, mandatory game plan that’s specifically designed for every endeavor. Network television should allow for the constant stream of dreams. There are stories written to be read, voices wanting to be heard, and faces wanting to be seen, inspiring for the future life of entertainment.
A strict set of rules should never apply when it relates to creative entertainment, a script is never final. One -way is only acceptable on the highways, not in the creative process, it eliminates the free flowing stream of yours and my dreams, and the enjoyable process of workable creative expression. Which often leads to the extinction of someone’s cleverness? I prefer dreams. Franchises that should have had a future, often times disintegrate, taking with them friendships, and jobs. A strict adherence to rules has, had, the potential of eliminating some fine creative franchises. Egos, selfishness and jealousy sink shows, promising franchises never fully mature; ceases to exist after a short season(s), dreams wasted. Ignorance, or ego's, which ever is preferred, expressed to sway direction is a waste of time and money, and the demise of some people’s good intentions. All venues of creative entertainment must allow for constant revision and change, more so now that ever before. The mind is inspiring to entertain; wanting to share. Due to industry egotism, creativity diffuses rapidly.
Electronic engineering allows pioneers in creative entertainment the ease to craft, and share their wears for immediate display. Multiple(s) dreamers can easily converse and rehearse 24/7, allowing for richer creative content. The ability to refine content and deliver it today without delay results in craftier creative entertainment. The theory of storytelling will always be to tell a tale. Storytelling sculptured for television can be cumbersome. The dreamers willingly need to share their dream, writers need freedom to write the dream, directors need to be a-bit like a Jeannie in a bottle and make those hopes and dreams come alive. Producers, release the Jeannie from the bottle of hope, and produce the dream, and actors-oh boy!  Act the dream of hope. Dream 2 imagine the scene. The brilliance is showcased when the dreamers, writers, directors, producers, and actors apply equality time to vision the life of the dream 2 life.  Quality requires patience; time and costs are constraints, creativity dislikes being cramped. When egotism interferes, creativity dies. Writers, directors, producers, and actors require freedom, not a formal, egoistical decaying ancient belief structure. A comprehensive industry wide formatting guide(s), and, or paradigm used repeatedly for development is boring, and wrong. This causes ugh.
Dreaming, let us not interfere with a natural phenomenon; your dream is a scripted story, you dream the dream every day. Similar comparisons you see in comedic dialogue. Think of a stand up comedian. A fine analogy would be a book, a novel, or a story of most any fictional tale, a multiple of dialogue. Often, when television declares a movie based on a novel, often times the novel is by-far superior, right! Why? Because character traits, settings and dialogue were patiently sculptured from a dream, the result is near precise to the dream. The setting of the story in a novel, film or television was from a vision in your mind, awake or while you slept, you dreamed about it, awake, you sat and thought about it.
Create each chapter and/or episode to the vision. There is an excuse why we are not privileged to finer human imagination. There is a reason, and here it is.
Technology easily allows co-mingling and hugging with peer intelligence. Human behavior is finicky; it yearns to giggle with other human behavior. Jealously frowns upon you and me co-giggling and hugging. Jealously and selfishness seek 2 reap all the credit for the things other people do, for the things you did and for the treasure you seek to uncover. Egos and selfishness spoil potentially fine work, why? Entertainment glorifies. My idea, not yours, I thought of that, not you!
Oh my Gosh, as you can see breeding ground 4 brats.
Clever intervention is necessary, jealousy and egos are not.  Since the golden years of television, many similar ideas are seen reflected in current entertainment. Let’s face it, dreaming is time consuming, ha, some folks sleep and dream, others seem to dream awake. Analyzing and selecting creative works is fun. If your dream is not to ones liking; it’s rejected, ego and jealousy.
Allow it to appeal to you for what it could become! Yell poor sportsmanship, another waste of time and money from a lack of better and/or poor judgment, and / or ego interference.
Annoying idiosyncrasies out of nowhere suddenly appear everywhere, naturally, “nah,” “intentionally,” yes, jeopardizing your dreams and mine. Jealousy, bratty adults, and / or the reluctance to change, has a sour effect on innovation and sustainable growth in any industry. The discovery and/or evolution of new frontier in entertainment progresses slow. Cable TV continues to slowly pioneer the entertainment industry; one cable franchise in particular is a proven winner of progressive innovation. She adores creativity. The passage from dream incubation to actual television and/or film viewing is always well thought about. Network TV is burdened with too many nuances.
Network Entertainment has a small band of pioneers, this is promising. Breaking away from relying on what others are doing is good. Never intentionally offer something similar, disguise it and release it for a quick buck. The industry is crawling towards discovering meaningful, competitive prime-time entertainment. Except for the creatively rare enjoyable sitcom, and reality show, network TV may have lost some of its competitive edge. Bringing dreams to life delivers freshness, competitiveness, resulting in craftier creative storytelling. The human mind grows the magical ingredients for incredible amounts of imagination. Your imagination is never fully realized or recognized, it’s abstract, indefinable, infinite thing, wonderful!
Creating a situation comedy should be mesmerized on any one(s) concept or viewpoint. One show was a perfect example of perfection, and is arguably histories best ever, all about nothing. The expression of dialogue can veer off in a totally fresh and enlightened direction, creating smaller, or larger spontaneous comedic situations from an already conceived story, as some link is eventually revealed, again about nothing, wonderful!
Dream 2 awaken and tell a story. Ill call them, “The dream-teamers,” of entertainment, and they can come in all sizes and shapes. Daily they should collectively gather and talk the dream. A “dream –teamer” can be Him, Her, you and I. Famine or failure is always a possibility, which is not to say your dream is a nightmare, but, feast and statue are present when there is unrestricted freedom to explore your dream, freedom to push beyond the limits. After all, a fond discovery may be found, climax!
A lack of a risk seems absent in network television. The opposite is true with cable television or film intended for the big screen, there is risk taken with respect to creative movie-making, but there again; the big screen has been known to be a victim of conventionality and similarity, to what preceded its last film.  Obstacles, concerns, and costs are prevalent; any advancement in creative entertainment with regard to scripted TV is now. Cable television is on the cutting edge of unleashing enlightening way(s) of telling tales, many channels are fearlessly brilliant in trying and discovering new ways. Network television can unleash with careful fearless brilliance simply by, incorporating the idea of, “dream-teamers.” If it were not for many people seeking the credit, and allow the, “dream people” to guide the way, and not one’s individual(s) credit.
The journey to get where the illusionist wants to take us can be expressed sneakier, wiser, and cleverer than ever before. The unknown, who, what, and where does not need to walk in the same footprints all the time. How many times have you the viewer voiced a correct ending or sequence of events to a film, movie, or television show while the show or film was still far from revealing its secret. Hollywood is programmed to communicate a story in a similar fashion from the early years.
A fair analogy of network television developing shows beyond the normal can be viewed from watching the shows, PERSON OF INTEREST, MEDIUM, TWENTY FOUR “24,”LOST, Some of which are already extinct. They seek to stretch the imagination. If they unleashed with more intrigue, freedom of imagination and humor, perhaps their screen life could have been prolonged. Scripted shows are on the cutting edge of implementing change, probably due to me encouraging television to be a-bit crafty. Those shows taking the initiative may turn out to be spectacular, and that is encouraging. Shows daring to please the viewer, will be rewarded, dream with patience, tickles, and integrity. We the viewers are fickle, we've come to know what to expect from television entertainment. We the fickle viewer should always be kept in suspense teased and surprised. Simple themes of things can be crafted to seem; funny, sad, mysterious, and inspiring. All dreams have the ingredients to be great if the principles are bold enough to stray from a predetermined paradigm, they are trying, simply not far enough to become truly suspenseful, innovating and inspiring for the future.
Let’s have fun! Cartoons
Cartoons construction consists of simple theories, colorful and clever character illustrations. When crafting a scene(s) for a cartoon, each cartoon character should possess a cheerful personality; include dialogue with smiles, colorful and majestic scenery enticing the viewer adding energy to each scene.   Most of our dreams are cartoons. I know; nightmares are something we will discuss another time.  Your dreams are your intellectual property. Cartoons are a vast playground of endless slapstick, simple short storytelling. Fine creative writing is written with the purpose of capturing interaction of voice and jest among-st the fictitious.
There can be a multiple of dialogues (story lines) encasing the cartoon, or any television and/or film release. I prefer a multiple of tiny tales surrounding the main. Remember the best, all about nothing, fine example, a show or film of any scenario can portray this feature. Cartoons do it all the time. Portrait of scenes creating a short story, the same theory can be found in a book of short stories, and, or a comedian on stage performing his or her act. Everyone is telling a story, the genius is the creator, the mind visions images of what, where, who. The talent of the director is weaving all those visions together, not easy! Everything ties together at the end.
The history of television has relied on the same principles and procedures, utilizing many of the same tools when translating a story. A strict set of rules should not apply, not when the objective is crafting creative entertainment.  To cultivate fiction appropriately needs freedom. Think restless creative entertainment. Failure is fine; something quite good and unexpected usually is derived from it.
Musicals: Broadway, New York City, Domestic and International
Musicals are an act of energy, they’re enlightening, and an awakening display of the purist form of entertainment. Soon after entering the theater, you will be handed a playbill, proceed to find your seat, be quiet, read through the playbill, and enjoy what you’re about to witness. A musical performance, better yet, a musical education of dialogue, song, and dance. Where else can an audience gather and watch professional stage actors sing, dance, laugh, jump, cry, enlighten, and inspire. They rehearse and relate a story tirelessly for weeks, months, sometimes thousands of times during a shows engagement. It’ll all seem so simple, ha-ha. When writing a musical though, it’s  too easy falling into the trap of adding to much dialogue to the script. Many times with a musical, scriptwriters and, or playwrights rely too much on spoken dialogue to convey a point in the story. Silence dialogue, and blanket those words with song. Many fine musicals where lessened some degree by losing sight and sound of song. Too much dialogue has a tendency to slow any momentum the story was building. Song is power in a musical, and patience needs to be a virtue when writing, so that the lyrics express precisely what the playwright is trying to convey. Song is magic in a musical; it will sing the story, the playwright, and or lyricist is therefore a genius.

Familiar Faces
Entertainment  tends to rely on familiar faces, and that’s fine, folks, depending on who’s face it is, it may be a sure bet for an Oscar nomination. Pen a screen gem without using familiar faces involves a bit more imagination. Right folks, how many times have you bought a ticket for the, face? The entry of acceptance to the world of TV / film festivals need not be so daunting. A slight imagination would reveal there’s a hidden gem(s) being performed in the world of TV and film festivals. Some potentially fine entertainment goes untested, not because the tale stinks, but the acceptance of unfamiliarity is difficult to overcome, a collaborated effort on the part of a few to underwrite the mini, to TV or full feature would help. The true test of anyone’s character is to perform outside of his or her comfort zone, or react to an unfamiliar challenge, or character. Isn’t this what the craft of acting is really about, to discover, capture and act on creating the creature of unfamiliarity!
Scripted Shows
During the birth of television, every show was original, they had to be, right! Well, bought to you for the second time, the 2nd birthing of scripted shows, long over due.
Now, more than any other time in the history of television, the pioneers of the dreamer(s) teamers of new shows must come together as a collective team of dream-makers, making dreams come true.  Day- dreamers, and night- dreamers, who bring to life the scenes in a dream. Sounds simple, right, well actually its not! Why is there so much repetition on TV? I dream every night, and so do you! Don’t you? Are you dreaming what I’m dreaming? Probably not! Create to inspire by writing a picture of your dream last night; you will be astonished by the picture, the brilliance of your dream, your tale 2 tell. Indecision is a spoiler of creation; keep it simple, it’s brilliant
